Trans-European Transport Network (TEN)

The geographical scope of the Technical Specifications for Interoperability (TSI) is late down in Regulation (EU) No 1315/2013 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 11 December 2013 on Union guidelines for the development of the trans-European transport network and repealing Decision No 661/2010/EU.

Further information on the geographical scope of the trans-European railway system can be found in Directive 2008/57/EC -DIRECTIVE OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL- of 17 June 2008, on the interoperability of the rail system within the Community, as last amended by Directive 2014/38/EU -COMMISSION DIRECTIVE- from March 10, 2014 amending Annex III to Directive 2008/57/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council as far as noise pollution is concerned.
